E Shift
The Middle Tennessee Council is excited to host E-Shift, the first Exploring Competition in the Middle Tennessee area! This competition will see our Police and Fire Explorers get dispatched to different locations in the Sumner County area, where they will respond to simulated calls. We are excited to see our First Responder Posts compete! However, we are also calling for volunteers from the Scouts BSA and Venturing programs as well! Earn 12 volunteer hours by being one of our actors for our many competition events! All volunteers are being offered a free t-shirt, free lodging, and free food on Saturday.

Scouting For Food
As Scouts, we know how fortunate we are to have a warm meal every night - whether around the campfire or at the kitchen table. And we know that not everyone is so lucky. That’s the genesis of Scouting for Food, the annual food-collection drive run by Middle Tennessee Council on first week of February each year. Scouting for Food takes place on two consecutive weekends. On the first weekend, Scouts distribute bags and/or door hangers to let their neighbors know about the drive. On the second, Scouts revisit those houses to pick up bags full of canned food, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, juice and other nonperishable items.
Memorial Flag Placement
The Middle Tennessee Council, Boy Scouts of America invites you to attend the Annual Memorial Day Flag Placement at the National Cemetery in Madison. This is just one of many ways the Scouts can show their patriotism and citizenship for our Country's Veterans. This tradition was started more than 50 years ago, and still continues to grow.
